The restoration was done in 2002, using Ceconite 102 by the owner, a well-known PIA mechanic instructor. The workmanship is very detailed and the aircraft is finished in traditional Cub colors. The aircraft has of course been hangered, so the exterior shows as new. All glass was replaced, new floor boards, instrument panel, with all instruments overhauled, new stainless steel control cables, new fuel tank and float, new vinyl seat covers with new slings, new stainless steel tail brace wires new brake master cylinders and the Sensenich propeller was overhauled in 2013.
Interior:
Restored very true to the aircraft as it was manufactured in January, 1940. This aircraft will take home fly-in awards.
Comments:
This is one of the most original restored Cubs that we've seen in a while. This aircraft has been owned and loved by the owner for 48 years. Call me now.
