Avionics: A
Garmin 250XL and a King KX-170B are the nav-coms and the transponder
is a KT-76A with encoder. A yoke mounted Lowrance GPS is included
and there is a built-in four place intercom |
|
Equipment &
Features: Metco wing tips, Metco wing root
fairings, cabin cover, true airspeed indicator, full wheel fairings.
The annual inspection is good until October 2012 and the engine
compressions at the annual were 75, 75, 73, 75. The owner states
that oil consumption is 9 hours per quart, which Lycoming states is
average for a new engine. The log books are complete from the
factory test flight and there is no damage history. The aircraft is
hangared and has been for the 13 years that the present owners have
had it. |

|
Exterior: The
aircraft received an excellent strip, etch, alodyne, prime and
refinish in Imron six years ago. It is done in overall Matterhorn
White with Forrest Green Metallic trim and Inca Gold accents. The
paint shows almost as new. |
|
|
|
Interior: The
seats feature brown fabric inserts with gray and white vinyl trim.
The sidewalls have complementing colors and fabrics and the
carpeting is brown. The glass is very good as is the headliner. |

Comments: This
180 has a wonderful pedigree and history and is beautiful to look
at. The engine is high time, but its factory overhaul and excellent
vital signs point to an engine with many hundred of potential hours
left in it. Call me now to discuss this plane. |
